Purpose and Reason:

Effective October 1, 2003, to adjust upward the gross and net income eligibility standards, to increase the maximum food stamp allotments from which the basis of issuance tables are calculated, and to increase the maximum excess shelter deduction from $367 to $378 per month, and to adjust the monthly standard deduction to $149 for households of 5 and $171 for households of 6 or more members.
